Brandon Arbour MPT, BSc. Kin., AN-IMS/Dry Needle
Physiotherapist

Brandon is a registered Physiotherapist who has recently returned to Barrie after spending 7 years in Vancouver, BC. While there he worked extensively in Vancouver and North Vancouver, but is happy to be home and close to Lake Simcoe!

While out west, Brandon gained considerable experience working with all types of injuries and pain conditions. He has wide ranging interests, with a background in elite athletics, movement analysis and chronic pain conditions. He has a particular interest in chronic pain and how these complex cases can be treated and managed effectively. While in Vancouver
he had the opportunity to work with and improve performance in athletes of all skill levels, from recreational to national level sport. He worked closely with both Snowboard BC and the Rob Short Field Hockey Academy, among others.

In clinic he combines his academic training and the hours he has spent working with clients to find a treatment strategy that will work specifically for each individual. Brandon has had the advantage of working with clients ranging in age from 10 to 85 years old, with a large variety of presentations. He also has extensive experience working with a wide variety of sport athletes, including but not limited to soccer, hockey, field hockey, stunt performance, distance running, power lifting, golf, skiing and snowboarding. He firmly believes in the value of continued education.

Brandon has a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Kinesiology from Western University and a Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia. He has completed his Level 3 training in manual
therapy from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s Orthopaedic Division. He is certified in IMS/Dry Needling and is a co-founder of Foundations Health Education, a health education company that offers post graduate physiotherapy training in Anatomical Neuropathic (AN-IMS)/Dry Needling. He is currently completing the Integrated Systems Model (ISM) Mentorship Series with Dianne Lee. He has previously been both a Certified
Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a MovNat Certified Trainer.

Brandon’s goal is to help each of the individuals he works with live a health filled, pain free and active life. He believes both in the power of physiotherapy intervention as well as the management of lifestyle factors for health.
